You write so beautifully. Thank you again for being here so I can have the privilege of knowing you. My heart hurts for you that your very existence isn't cherished by everyone that finds your Substack.
Thank you for this, as for your words since I first found your publication. I have been thinking about that picture of the turtle sunning herself next to that algae-choked pond all week and telling other people about it, too. I think that will be something I remember from this week going forward. Your words have really, really been a comfort this week.
It makes me smile to hear that the picture of that turtle left such an impression on you... Thanks so much for sharing that with me. I feel an ache in my heart, knowing my words have brought you comfort this week. What an honor. Hoping you can feel the hug from here 🫂🐢

Victoria, I may not know you, but your words are a gift I feel humbled to receive. Thank you.

You write so beautifully
May happier times be with you soon
God bless ❤️
Grateful for these words, Sandy 🤍
This is so beautiful. I am so grateful you are here, sharing your thoughts so eloquently, lovingly, and fiercely.
LC, I appreciate your kind encouragement so much. I'm grateful YOU'RE here.
I want to reach out and hug you, and tell you there will always be safe places for all of us in each others hearts.
And truly humankind has survived through community and connection, not through greater strength or superior wisdom..
I learnt that this week here on Substack, and am clinging to its truth 😏
I'm clinging to this human goodness and capacity for connection now, too, Janey. And I appreciate that virtual hug. So much 🫂
What a wonderfully written piece, thank you.
What wonderfully encouraging words. Thank you.
It feels good to be able to offer whatever comfort I can. I'm deeply grateful this resonated, Alison. Big hug 🫂
