This is wonderful, Phoenix. Thank you so much for the pictures (Iām a very visual person) AND your written reflections. Delightful. š p.s Love the idea of you in a trench coat with your pigeons. š
Thank you for your gentle nudge of inspiration to share this, Kharpern. I really understand being a visual person. And I'm so happy you can visualize me in the trench coat... ;-D
This is a lovely montage of your day-day, friend. Thanks for inviting us in for a peek of some of your favorite pals and places. Looking forward to part 2. šš„°š
Wow! Thank you for sharing your photos! They show the delightful nature of your new environment! Iām a somewhat musical person and the first song that popped into my head was āIām Good,ā by the Mowgliās.
I'm embarrassed to say I had to scroll through several times before I understood what squat you were referring to š And thank you! I'm milking these squats as long as I can.
It brings me joy to know this made you smile š And that coffee shop in Chicago sounds like a gem of a place. I love finding these spots and I'm glad you have, too š
Wow, what a lovely bunch of photos. You've given my a whole new perspective on Brooklyn. It actually looks delightful - never would have used that word in that connection before!!! My granddaughter lives on 119th St and does volunteer work at the Natural History Museum. I think that's near Harlem but they're all just a bunch of names I've not figured out where everything is yet. But I'm so happy to see you all settled and comfy there.
Aww, I'm glad this brought an element of delight to your perspective of Brooklyn! I totally get it. I've been pretty surprised by the number of lovely things here myself. And how cool that your granddaughter volunteers at the NHM!

I absolutely appreciate how songs pop up like this š Thank you for sharing yours, Beth.
That chipmunk at the end is me. As in the likeness is truly uncanny.
Have you been here in Brooklyn all along...? š¤Æ š½ šæļø
So many lovely things and what I want to say is: you have a great squat!!! Sending love, my friend

Ha! Youāre so humble you didnāt even know!
What a wonderful photographic introduction to your world! It truly made me smile š
The architecture reminded me of my favorite coffee shop and pub near my son and his fiancĆ©ās place in Chicago. Itās absolutely delightful and very queer friendly.
